Remember the 3,778 piece Lego Technic Ferrari Daytona SP3 set we posted a few days ago? Okay, Lego officially announced it today and it looks like it has a coffee table book to go with it!
Although the Lego Ferrari Daytona will not be a limited edition, the Lego Technic Daytona SP3, The Sense of Perfection Coffee Table Book will have a limited 5,000 units and will be available to order separately on the Lego website.
The coffee table book will cover both the Maranello and Bealund (Ferrari and Lego headquarters locations, respectively) and will cover the design process of both the Ferrari Daytona SP3 and its brick counterpart.
The Lego set reveals more details – a fully built Lego Technic Ferrari Daytona SP3 set will be 14cm long, 59cm long and 25cm wide.
The 1: 8 scale Lego Technic model will have a functional 8-speed sequential gearbox with a paddle shifter, a V12 engine with a moving piston and a striking silver lacquered rim. The model has a pair of working butterfly-hinge doors open to reveal the cockpit.
The RRP is USD399.99, which makes it the most expensive Lego Tech car ever – Lamborghini Sian is USD379.99 and Bugatti Chiron is USD349.99.
