It’s almost the weekend of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, an automated competition on the shores of Lake Como, Italy. First held in 1929, BMW has partnered with the event for over 20 years and has much to celebrate this year. As this marks the 50th anniversary of the M Division, Bavarian Motor Works has chosen Bash by the Lake for its worldwide debut of the M4 CSL. The revelation will introduce the world to the M branch for the third time Coupe Sport Lightweight After 1973 3.0 CSL and 2004 E46 M3 CSL. Adhering to the German-Italian exchange program, BMW Motorrad will showcase a special version of the M 1000 RR superbike attached to the M4 CSL. Sadly, this will be one of the few motorcycle shows since the organizers refused to relaunch the Concorso di Motociclette. Back in the cars, there will be a judged showcase – one of seven – called “50 Years of Mean Machinery”, a 50th Anniversary M Showcase with classic collection vehicles, three ‘ring taxis, and lots of personal entries. We have a feeling “Born for the racetrack: ‘Win on Sunday, sell on Monday'”.
The battery-electric i7 xDrive60 makes its universal debut with the “historic surveillance” of the model lineup at Villa D’Est. As the brand expands into family reunions, Rolls-Royce is flying over the latest gem in its four-year boat tail series.
Outside of Germany, BMW Ferrari’s special showcase for the 75th anniversary of the showcase, “75 at the Cavalino: eight decades of Ferrari represented by eight icons.” Four more judging classes will be held over the weekend, including “Golden Age Elegance: The Art Deco Era of Motor Car Design,” “Compressor! Supercharged Mercedes-Benz,” and “150 Seasons Celebration at Villa D’Est: How Great Once the Entrance Was Made , “And” breaking the speed barrier: the pioneers who followed the magic 300 km per hour. ” As Villa d’Este celebrates its 150th anniversary as a luxury hotel, it also received a class, “Celebrating 150 Seasons at Villa d’Este: How a Great Entrance was Once Made.” Which encourages vehicles that have won the Copa d’Oro Villa d’Esta, the event’s best show trophy since 1929.
