Remember an Audi A4 and a Toyota Wish recently had a contagious video involving dangerous driving on the highway? In the latest development, PDRM arrested two people involved in the crime that took place on May 1 at KM 269 to KM 238 on the North-South Highway (southbound).
Police did so with the help of leaked video footage. The driver of the Audi A4, a 36-year-old local, surrendered at 9 a.m. on May 2, and the 34-year-old Wish driver surrendered at 6:45 p.m. the next day. Two vehicles were also seized.
According to the Seremban IPD, the reason for the chase scene was that Wish driver was told he had not paid his car installment for several months. The Audi driver, who works as a tow truck driver, wants to stop him.
The case is still under investigation and both of them will be investigated under section 42 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. If convicted, the offender will be stripped of his driving license for five years and face the possibility. Five years imprisonment and fine from RM5,000 to RM10,000.
