Anyone flying home for Ray? Express Rail Link (ERL) has announced that KLIA Ekspres and KLIA transit city-to-airport trains will have longer working hours and increase peak hour frequency. The change started on April 25 Note that KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit will continue to be a combined service.
Now, the first train from KL Central and KLIA 2 will leave at 5 am. Last train departure from KL Central at 11:10 pm and from KLIA2 at 12:10 pm has been fixed. Previously, the first train was at 6 a.m. and the last train would leave at 10 p.m., so this change is a good thing because air travel recovers from the epidemic.
In addition to working hours, the service frequency for peak hours will increase every 15 minutes, while the off-peak frequency will remain the same every 30 minutes. During the month of Ramadan, peak hours are from 7 am to 9 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm (usually from 5 pm to 7 pm).
High frequency for peak hours only regular weekdays, Monday to Friday. Interval 30 minutes on weekends and public holidays.
Travel time from KL Central to KLIA is 35 minutes. Add five minutes to KLIA2. The ticket counter will be closed 10 minutes before the last train leaves.
