DFSK EC35 EV van launched in Malaysia – two or five seat option, 200 km city

QC Fleet Management has launched DFSK EC35 electric van for the Malaysian market. Officially launched today, the delivery-based car will be sold here in two- and five-seater configurations, priced at RM130,000 (Excluding registration and insurance).

Measuring 4,500 mm long, 1,680 mm wide and 2,000 mm long, the van offers a rear access height of 1,270 mm, with rear door access being 1,440 mm. For the payload, the EC35 can handle 1,090 kg, comparable to a conventional gasoline or diesel van, but with zero carbon emissions.

It is powered by a 60 kW and 200 Nm electric motor, and the performance features include a maximum speed of 100 km / h and a range of 275 km (NEDC cycling) on a full charge, more realistic 200 km operation with the city.

The motor is powered by a 38.7 kWh lithium-ion phosphate (LFP) battery, with a CCS charging connector allowing users to use AC and DC charging. At 6 kW, AC charging takes about six hours to fill the battery, whereas fast DC charging at a maximum of 40 kW brings the battery to 20% to 80% charge in 35 minutes.

The EC35 has a ground clearance of 190mm, which means it is less likely to be damaged when passing undercarriage bumps, and its extra-large windshield provides optimal visibility for a busy delivery driver.

Specifications and kits include automatic headlights, a nine-inch touchscreen display with Bluetooth connectivity and a four-inch stereo speaker, a rotary gear shift selector, remote control fob, power window and a car finder with central locking.

Safety equipment includes ABS and EBD as well as a tire pressure monitoring system. The EC35 is also equipped with a approximate triple reverse sensor for distance and a reverse camera, attached to a nine-inch display, and a pedestrian warning system, which emits a warning sound when the car travels at a speed of 30 km / h. .

According to QC Fleet Management, the EC35 is an attractive proposition for business users because of its cost efficiency, about 33% annual savings in servicing costs compared to a traditional van, and 78% more daily fuel consumption.

“Our range of electric vehicles provides practical, sustainable solutions for companies involved in end-mile delivery, light and service industries and SMEs. Many companies are looking for sustainable solutions to meet their transportation needs. Contrary to popular belief, being green does not have to be expensive. EC35 provides companies with a way to reduce their carbon footprint and operational costs at the same time, “said Lim Khun Ye, MD, QC Fleet Management.

DFSK EC35 is available for sale and lease, with a leasing period of three to five years. Buyers, meanwhile, are covered with a five-year or 120,000-kilometer warranty on the powertrain.
