Bentley is preparing to add a fifth model to its lineup. The company is not ready to reveal the car’s identity – although we think we know what we’re looking at – but has announced that the mysterious car will be available with an option called Airline Seat Specification.
If you travel in economy class, there’s absolutely nothing glamorous about an airline seat: it’s often thin-padded, compressed, and not as clean as we might imagine. Bentley’s new option takes inspiration from the front of the plane, however, where business class and first class passengers fly. Buyers ordering the airline seat specification option will receive a car with distinctive rear seats 22-way power-adjustable, the firm will feature an advanced postural adjustment technology featuring what it calls an “auto climate sensing system” and delivering 177 personal pressure. . Changes are possible across six regions. Bentley proudly calls it the most advanced seat in a car.
The company is also embedding lighting components in door panels. Known as the Bentley Diamond Illumination, the system has 12 LEDs integrated into the front door panel and 22 LEDs into the rear door panel. They’re configuring upholstery shine through small holes. The results are shown in the image above, although other designs may be possible. Bentley noted that the model it is preparing for unveiling will offer less than 24 24 billion (yes, Billions!) Unique potential configuration of single trim specification.
As for the rest of the car, nothing is official yet but we’re pretty sure we’re seeing a long-wheelbase version of the Bentayga. When the model hits online at 12:30 pm British time on May 10, 2022, we will have a better idea of what is in the Bentley pipeline.
