Bentley teases fifth model – new flagship will debut May 10; More than 24 bills

Bentley will announce a fifth model on May 10 to join its luxury car portfolio. The car will be lined up, and it has been suggested that it will feature several of the world’s first technologies

The available configuration includes the new Bentley Airline seat with 22-way adjustability, known as the most advanced seat fitted in a car. It also has a new six-zone automatic climate sensing system and advanced posture adjustment technology with 177 individual pressure changes.

In addition, Bentley says privatization opportunities will be greater than ever, with 24 billion unique potential configurations of trim alone. These are, of course, handicrafts made at Cruy Bentley’s carbon-neutral factory.

The final mulsan was made in June 2020. It has been in production for over 10 years

Other notable features include Bentley Diamond Illumination (where light is emitted through perforated leather door trim), and the increasingly popular Bentley Diamond Quilting.

The automaker said in a statement, “With an extra dimension of on-board fitness, the new model will sit at the top of its range in great comfort and offer a lot more power – and configuration – than anything previously offered.”

Now, it’s not clear if the new model is a direct successor to the now-defunct Mulsanne, but somehow it will probably be offered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Bentley will be fully electric by 2030, during which time it will roll out at least five new EVs.
