Launched first on the Sierra Line, the more luxurious Denali Ultimate Trim 2023 is coming to GMC Yukon. It has almost every available feature for general denial that is available as standard, as well as some unique design features.
Denali Ultimate’s dark chrome is distinguished by grille and badging, a feature that cannot be added to any other Yukon model. It still gets the biggest wheel for the Yukon: 22-inch painted, machined and polished parts.
The interior is more impressive. Most surfaces are covered with leather, real wood and aluminum trim. There is a topographic map of Mount Denali on the back of the seat and on a wooden plank. Metal badges are even added to the back of the seat with special trim level names.
For features, the Denali Ultimate basically comes with everything that is standard as well as regular Denali which is usually optional which includes magnetic shock, huge screen, an 18-speaker sound system and a messaging seat. So this is one of the rare times where it is easy to list an additional feature or just a choice. Naturally you will find a choice of color, and the trim layer can be added to either the short Yukon or the long Yukon XL. The standard engine is a gas-powered 6.2-liter V8 with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The 3.0-liter TurboDiesel Straight-Six is an alternative with 277 horsepower and the same amount of torque. Both are paired with a 10-speed automatic and four-wheel drive. Another option is the Super Cruise with the ability to tow and automatic lane change, a rear seat recreation system and a towing package. And that’s it.
The price has not been announced, but it is quite clear that it will be the most expensive Yukon trim. The final number is coming this June. Delivery begins this fall.
