2023 Chevrolet Bolt UV Redline version down, the rest of the Bolt EV lineup

For its second model year, the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt UV gets a new redline version, while the rest of the Bolt EV lineup remains unchanged.

The Redline version is an attendance package Chevy has been offering on some of its petrol models for several years now. The Bolt UV Redline version has 17-inch black wheels with red accents, a black and red bolt UV badge on the rear hatch and red accent decals on the mirror caps. Available paint colors include Summit White, Mosaic Black Metallic and Silver Flare Metallic.

Inside, the redline version gets black leather upholstery and red accent stitching, whether paired with the LT or Premier trim layer. This is usually part of the optional convenience package of high-end Premier Trim.

The Redline version is exclusive to the Bolt EUV, which was introduced alongside the revised Bolt EV for the 2022 model year. The EUV is basically a good Bolt EV, where it is important where there is little extra space and super cruise available.

The Bolt EUV redline version and a new color option – except for the radiant red tintcoat for both EVs and UVs, carry everything else for the 2023 model year, a General Motors spokesman confirmed. Green Car Report.

As a refresher, both the Bolt EV and the Bolt UV have a 200-horsepower electric motor, front wheel drive and a 65-kilowatt battery pack. It offers an EPA-range of 259 miles for the Bolt EV and 247 miles for the Bolt UV.

Pricing for the 2023 model year will be confirmed near the start of production, but Chevrolet has created an affordable game with the new 2022 models. The 22 31,995 base price (including destination) of the 2022 Bolt EV represents a $ 5,500 price reduction from the 2021 model. The 2022 Bolt EUV started at 33,995.

But then GM had to recall a massive battery, replacing the battery modules for the 2017-2019 models. About half of these error-prone previous models have been remedied, while the 2019-2022 vehicle has a software / diagnostic remedy (and a few replacements).

Production of Bolt EVs and UVs at GM’s Orion Assembly plant in Orion Township, Michigan, was also suspended for about six months due to the recall. It relaunched April 4, according to GM.
