2022 RGNT Motorcycle No. 1 Classic SE e-bike now in Europe, range 148 km, 120

RGNT Motorcycle No. 1 Classic and Scrambler No. 1, RGNT Motorcycle Sports Extended or ‘SE’ from Sweden have been released by updating its electric motorcycle (e-bike). Currently available in Europe, the No. 1 Classic SE is priced at, 13,495 (RM63,671) while the Scrambler No. 1 SE is priced at, 14,495 (RM68,389) by purchasing through RGNT’s website.

The ‘SE’ model name is available for any e-bike in RGNT’s catalog and includes reproducible braking and a new ‘boost’ mode that adds an additional 20% to the battery life. In addition, a ‘SEL’ limited edition model is available with accessories, chrome plated fender, two-tone paintwork in “Tank” and seats with brown upholstery.

Also new is the Instrument Cluster, a TFT-LCD screen with more personalization options the size of a tablet. The new thumb-powered joystick makes it easy to interact safely with the cluster while riding the bike, allowing the display to change on the fly.

Other updates include a new RGNT app that gives riders real-time updates on charging status and charging time, battery range and bike position. Future upgrades planned for the No. 1 e-bike range include sensitive feedback, always IoT-connected for security, bike status and automated software and design upgrades.

The power of the RGNT No. 1 is stored in a 9.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack weighing 60 kg, which can be charged using a Type 2 charger or domestic current. Charging time is claimed to be three hours from 20% to 60% while it takes six hours to charge the battery from 0% to 100%, with a range of 148 km and a controlled maximum speed of 120 kmh.

For performance, the rear wheel hub-mounted motor is rated at 9 kW, with a maximum efficiency of 21 kW and a peak torque of 390 Nm (this is not a typo.) No. 1 Tips 163.3 kg with a seat height of 810 mm. Classified as an L3e-A1 electric vehicle in Europe, the No. 1 is entirely handmade in Sweden.
