Following a quick preview in January, the 2022 QJMotor SRT800 and SRT800X have now been officially launched in Malaysia, priced at RM39,888 and RM42,888, respectively. Prices do not include road tax, insurance or registration and stock is now expected at the MForce dealer showroom for delivery in July for orders placed.
As the successor model to the Benelli TRK Adventure-Turing motorcycle series, the SRT800 comes with the typical German and Italian inspired adventure bike styling. The power of the SRT800 comes in the form of a parallel-twin displacing 745 cc.
EFI claims that the Fed, Euro 5, DOHC, 8-valve, liquid-cooled engine produces 75 hp at 8,500 rpm, 75 hp with 67 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Power reaches the ground via an assisted and slipper clutch equipped six-speed gearbox and chain final drive.
The difference between the SRT800 and the SRT800X wheel is that the SRT800 comes with a cast alloy wheel while the SRT800X gets a spoke wheel. For wheel and tire sizes, the SRT800 has 120/70 front and 180/55 rear rubber on 17-inch wheels.
Meanwhile, the SRT800X gets shod with tubeless spoke wheels, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear, with 110/80 and 150/70 size tires. The suspension is fitted with an adjustable upside-down fork at the front and a preload and compression adjustable rear at the rear.
The Brembo 320mm disc provides twin four-piston caliper for the front wheels and a single-piston caliper with a 260mm disc clamping at the rear, as the Bosch two-channel ABS standard tool. The SRT800X comes standard with aluminum top and side box.
Inside the cockpit, a 5-inch TFT-LCD full-color display displays all the necessary information. The SRT800 weighs 254 kg and has a seat height of 810 mm while the SRT800X comes in at 260 kg with a seat height set at 835 mm, where the fuel capacity is equal to 18.5-liter.
